I've set up some images for downloading from this site. You can use them as backgrounds on your PC, Tablet, phone.......whatever you want. These images are not for printing and there is a licence agreement to be adhered to. Other than that, please feel free to buy a download or three. Those of you following me on Facebook will know that l've been using a recently purchased Minolta 28mm f2 Alpha mount lens on my Sony A77. This is the last version of a highly regarded lens which was first released in 1986 and has long since been deleted. This lens is a joy to use and produces wonderful images. It is a perfect match for the A77's sensor which demands high quality glass. If you see one of these lenses in good working order, snap it up. (ho-ho!)
Historical note: Minolta (Konica Minolta) cameras and lenses were always highly regarded in the photography world. I, myself, used Minolta film cameras in my youth. Sony bought Minolta a few years ago and used the company's experience and qualities to produce their first DSLR, the A100. Sony sensors are now used in many of the world's top cameras, including those at the top of the Nikon range. Sony is now developing new lenses in conjunction with Olympus while Hasselblad's new mirrorless and compact cameras are based around Sony's NEX 7 and RX100.
