Back from Corfu

Have you missed me? No?

Oh well. I've been on holiday to the Greek island of Corfu. Apart from lazing around, eating too much, drinking too much, tanning too much, l took some quite nice pictures. Some of these have been added to my "Greece" folder on this site.

I made a conscious decision to take just the minimum amount of camera gear with me. I didn't want to be lugging around bags of lenses and heavy DSLRs in 32 degrees of heat. So, off l went with my Sony NEX 7, a Sigma "A" 19mm f2.8, a Yashinon-DX 35mm f2.8 and an INA 135mm f3.5. The last two of these lenses are legacy lenses and two of my all-time favourites. The resulting photographs were very pleasing to me and show just how good the NEX 7 is when used with quality glass. I can't wait for the expected Sony NEX FF camera to be announced.
